A large Victorian gem set blue enamel snake-head brooch, circa 1860, collet set with pear-cut garnet, rectangular step-cut emeralds and oval cabochon garnet eyes with foliate engraved decoration, apparently unmarked, 46.2mm, 21.3g
Brooch has been re-purposed from a necklace with a soldered on fitting, all stones present, 1 emerald has a tiny surface chip, enamel has several small edge chips, gem set cross mount probably also a later edition, brooch fitting working, unmarked
