A fine Victorian turquoise and garnet snake necklace, circa 1860, the large head pave set with cabochon turquoise, cabochon garnet eyes and open mouth, with graduated articulated link chain body, apparently unmarked, 38cm, 32g, in fitted leather case

Snake is lacking original drop from mouth, all stones present, an extremely light dent on underside of mouth, a few links slightly bent but still articulates very well, clasp has a small re-gilded solder repair, clasp working, unmarked
