A 19th century rosewood and marquetry inlaid writing slope, length 41cm

Several pieces of inlay missing from the lid and some of the brass wirework stringing lifting on the front edge. There is areas of loss of inlay including right-hand column and left-hand column and around escutcheon, wiring inlay is loose on front lid and there are areas of loss of veneer to side and front of box, some evidence of light historic woodworm at back of box, significant staining, are present but loose, the sprung mechanism revealing 3 interior drawers is working and drawers in good condition, needs some restoration, no key and not tight fitting to lock
