An 18th century English Delft charger, depicting Adam and Eve and the Tree of Knowledge with the serpent, hand painted in blue green and yellow with blue dash border, diameter 34cm
Bowl has been broken and repaired with a number of minor edge surface glaze chips. A 15cm rim section has had some restoration of glazed surface, small section of the major cracks show some filling particularly towards rim and through Adam figure, some loss of glaze around crack edges. Extent of cracks can best be seen on reverse picture.
