A fine quality George II cast silver cream jug, in the form of a nautilus shell on serpent base, the body relief cast with garlands of flowers, Peter Archambo, London circa 1740, 7.88oz, height 10.5cm, length approx 13cm
The leaf on the very top of the handle seems to be missing a tip, decoration very lightly rubbed, marks under the base difficult to read, possibly old repairs to the serpent foot
