Francois Linke (1855 - 1946), a very fine quality French library writing table, circa 1900 - 1910, green leather top in cast-bronze leaf decorated surround, the central sprung frieze drawer activated by a button underneath, with relief cast bronze cherub decorated panel signed F Linke, raised on tapered legs with allover very finely cast gilt-bronze mouldings and mounts, 110cm x 60cm, height 73cm, provenance: purchased by the present vendor at Sotheby's sale 14th June 2005 Lot 215
All in very good original condition, no damage or repairs and all ormolu mounts present and in good bright condition, leather top is scratched and with slight discolouration and minor marks
