An Art Deco 3ct Single Stone Diamond Ring,
circa 1920, set with a round transitional-cut diamond of approximately 3.00 carats, flanked by single-cut diamond trio shoulders, mounted in platinum, size P, 4.1g
The principal diamond is very bright and lively and is uncertified, estimated colour L/M, clarity SI1/SI2, the diamond has one small black spot inclusion just beneath the table, along with several naturals on the girdle and signs of bearding. The mount has general wear commensurate with age and use, several of the claws would benefit from re-tipping, and one side of the bridge has two claw prongs detached from the surround, shank slightly off-round and backing is beginning to wear thin. Overall in good condition and a very bright principal diamond.
