Taxidermy - an antique Indian Leopard skin rug, label to the underside reads "B. Appajee & Son, Taxidermists, Curing and Mounting Shilar Trophies, 110 Maine Street, Poona", with open mouth, snarling pose, glass eyes, majority of claws still present, with canvas and green felt edging, and leather pads to limbs, head to tail 220cm, front leg width 135cm. Good overall condition, teeth present, slight chipping and cracking to tongue and inside of mouth, some splitting to the ears. Two claws present on the left front paw, four on the right front paw, three claws on the rear right and three on the rear left, including one ripped. Skin has some overall loss, some torn edges and several small bald patches, tail unfortunately ripped in places. Green felt is also ripped in places, age associated wear.
