An early 19th century silver pair-cased Verge pocket watch, by William Smith of Wingham, white enamel dial with black Arabic numerals with pierced and engraved balance cock and cylindrical pillars, case by Henry Jackson, hallmarks London 1826, movement no. 6436, outer case width 60mm, not currently working
Good overall condition although not currently working and chain is loose inside movement, dial in good order with just a few small specks of dirt, glass and case lightly abraded all over with a few very minor dents on the backs of the cases, internal case has a few tiny splits near keyhole, external case protruding button missing but latch still working, hallmarks slightly rubbed
