A Japanese Meiji Period lacquered specimen wood kodansu table-top cabinet, circa 1910, the abalone and metal mounted doors opening to reveal 6 interior drawers, with a single long drawer below, and brass carrying handles, H28cm, W30cm, D15cm
Doors and longer drawer wood slightly faded, left panel of cabinet has a vertical split which still appears stable, tacks for metal hinge mounts slightly loose, base is separate from main cabinet and small section of brass corner banding is broken
