A Sapphire and Diamond Cluster Ring,
the oval flowerhead cluster panel set with an oval mixed cut sapphire measuring approximately 2.90 carats, surrounded by modern round brilliant cut diamonds with bifurcated leaf shoulders and millegrain shank, the diamonds totalling approximately 1.30 carats, unmarked mount tests as 18ct yellow gold and silver, size N, 5.6g
The sapphire is a deep blue colour with a slight central colour window, straight colour zoning and a few internal wispy veil inclusions visible through a loupe. The diamonds are very bright and lively. The mount hardly has any wear. Overall in very good condition.
