circa 1820, the polished black onyx heart having central double-sided hinged locket compartment containing a Lover's Eye watercolour portrait miniature on ivory panel, within a graduated split pearl surround, unmarked mount tests as 14ct rose gold, 43.5mm, 10.2g. Ivory Submission Reference: WKGBM856

The onyx has no chips or cracks. All pearls are present and only have minor nacre chips visible through a loupe. The ivory panel has no chips or cracks. Overall in very good condition.
