A fine quality French dome-top musical sewing etui box, circa 1800, burr-walnut and banded, the interior having a lift-out tray with original carved mother-of-pearl handled items, unmarked gold and mother-of-pearl needle case in the form of a quiver of arrows, original removeable mirror set into the lid, the lift-out tray enclosing a musical movement playing 2 airs on a 6cm cylinder, box length 14.5cm, together with some original letters and documentation, previously property of the Baroness De Blount

Outer case is in good original condition, 1 section of the scissor handle has been broken but still present, 1 empty section in the tray, all other items appear to be original and in good condition, mechanism is in good working order, mirror inside the lid is broken
