A late Victorian silver sauce boat, Mappin & Webb, Sheffield 1897, with beaded rim, scrolled acanthus leaf handle, 20cm, 12.6oz
Body has original engraved emblem depicting hand holding a dagger, monogram HMP and date 1898, top rim lining has a small split near handle which is also slightly pushed inwards with 1 very minor dent beneath, otherwise no damage, still heavy gauge, hallmarks clear
