A Chinoiserie blue lacquered and gilded bedroom suite, comprising a 4'6" double bed, 3-door wardrobe, a pair of bedside cabinets, a pair of bedroom chairs, a mirror-back dressing table with chair, and tallboy and cheval mirror (9)
The bedroom suite is probably circa 1920s. All in good overall condition. Obvious age use related surface ware, scratches and marks. A few surface chips only. One of the wardrobe doors and bedside cupboard doors appear to be slightly swollen and just don't close properly. The wardrobe does break into 3 pieces for transport. The dressing table mirror is not chipped, but some of the silver lining has some foxing around the edge and through the mirror only. Chinoiserie decoration is nice and bright. Would benefit from a clean.
