A Regency gilt oval mantel mirror, with ebonised mounts and split turned columns, 90cm x 57cm
Approx weight 10 kilos, although we do not have a set of scales to confirm this. Areas of paint loss on the frame and large areas of oxidisation of the mirrored panel, as visible in the photograph. The back panel of the mirror has been replaced, but we cannot safely remove it to examine the mirrored panel, so I cannot guarantee that this is original or not. The inner molding does not seem to match either, suggesting that this piece may be made up, rather than all original. Overall good condition.
