A Vintage violin and bow in case, spare bow in case also
Both bows and violin itself will need significant repair, 2 strings missing from violin. Lacquer / varnish finish very rubbed and worn through to bare wood in places. No splits, cracks, but some heavier signs of wear to some edges. All strings need replacing. Bottom section near chin rest loose. No cracks or damage to scroll. Label for Jeffrey J Gilbert. Peterborough FUCIT.ANNO1891number116. No bows with this. Back of body H - 14 inches, neck 10 inches. No obvious signs of worm.
