A Georgian mahogany 2-section chest on chest, with 3 short and 6 long drawers, on bracket feet, W105cm, H190cm, D56cm
Cornice has some aged repairs and chips, particularly along the front edge, which is clearly visible. There is veneer damage and loss to both sections, again clearly visible. Some cock beading is missing. Some damage to the edges of the sections also. Sides are quite dull in appearance. Surface scratches and marks all over. The bottom draw of the top section is split all the way along, which is visible from the inside. The top draw of the bottom section is sectioned off. Draws are oak lined and run back to front. Back board is loose and needs attention. A couple of the draws are a little sticky. All handels present but not original. Bracket feet have been cut down and are not present.
