An Art Deco Pearl and Diamond Brooch,
circa 1930, the shaped marquise open-work panel centrally set with a 5mm whole pearl, and set throughout with old and rose-cut diamonds with millegrain edge, the diamonds totalling approximately 1.00 carats, unmarked mount tests as platinum, 56.8mm, 10.7g
The pearl is of slightly off-round shape with a few very minor surface blemishes closer to the base, and a pinkish green overtone. The diamonds are relatively bright and lively, several has some surface dirt trapped beneath. The mount has light surface wear commensurate with age and use. Overall in very good condition
