A Belle Epoque Amethyst and Diamond Pendant Necklace,
circa 1910, comprising a ribbon bow set with round and rose cut diamonds, suspending a further ribbon bow set with a pear cut amethyst, the diamonds totalling approximately 0.25 carats, unmarked mount tests as palladium and 14ct yellow gold on a platinum fine trace link chain, pendant 35.5mm, chain 36cm, 4.9g, in fitted Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Company Ltd blue leather case
The amethyst is a well-saturated and even deep purple with a few tiny girdle nicks and one internal tiger stripe inclusion in top right-hand corner. The diamonds are relatively bright and lively. The mount only has light wear. Overall in very good condition.
