A French early 19th century circular burr-wood snuffbox, pressed relief decorated lid inscribed "Le Lion De Florence", base unscrews to reveal a miniature watercolour portrait of a woman, diameter 8cm
Good condition, no chips or repairs. Tortoiseshell lining of base is still present with a few small edge chips, the lid fits perfectly
