A large Georgian convex mirror, with gilded relief carved wood and gesso surround, original oxidised mirror plate, overall diameter 108cm
Good original condition, some chips and repairs to frame at edges. The back of the mirror has wooden panels which although have significant age may not be the original panels, there are 3 layers of tape on the back of back of the mirror, various range of ages. Back boards of mirror have been re-taped and we believe the mirror plate has been replaced with an artificially oxidised mirror
