An Art Deco Ruby and Diamond Brooch,
French, circa 1920, the geometric elongated lozenge frame channel set with graduated calibre-cut rubies terminating with millegrain set rose-cut diamond tulip flowerheads, indistinct maker's mark, French assay marks, mount tests as platinum and 18ct yellow gold, 78.5mm, 9.8g
The rubies are quite well matched in colour, only a few have tiny edge nicks. The diamonds are all present and are slightly bright. The mount has general wear commensurate with age and use. Overall in very good condition.
