A large early 20th century black slate and marble architectural 8-day mantel clock, with drum movement and mercury pendulum, case height 47cm, width 38cm
Clock appears to be in nice overall condition. There are some chips to some of the edges. Some splinter chips also. All clearly visible. The dial has numerous cracks through it and a 1cm chip through the 6 hour. Glass is slightly scratched. The glass panelled door does not close tightly. There is no back cover either. The panelled door is also chipped. No makers plaque to the back of the movement. Just numbered 2240. No key, so unable to confirm whether it is working or not.
