A Victorian 18ct gold diamond coiled snake / serpent ring, the head set with graduated old and modern round brilliant cut diamonds, total diamond content approx 0.55ct, hallmarks London 1890, setting height 11.2mm, size R, 5.3g

No damage, one stone has been replaced with a modern round brilliant and the green adhesive is still visible around the stone, the 3 smaller old cuts have surface chips and cracks which are just about visible without a loupe, the largest has multiple internal crystals and fractures all old cuts are slightly grey, settings abraded consistent with age, hallmarks slightly rubbed, stamped 18.
