An early Victorian novelty silver propelling pencil in the form of a flintlock pistol, barrel inscribed 8th July 1840, by Sampson Mordan, retracted length 4cm
Good overall condition, no damage or repair, tip of pencil does not completely retract into barrel but sliding action is working perfectly, lightly abraded all over, no hallmarks
