An 18ct gold half hunter keyless side-wind pocket watch, by Reid & Sons of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Makers to the Lords of the Admiralty, white enamel dial with black Roman numeral hour markers, blued steel double spade hands, subsidiary seconds dial, outer case blue enamel chapter ring, 18ct dust cover and rose-cut diamond balance jewel, hallmarks London 1917, no. 38397, case width 52mm, 120.2g gross, not currently working

Movement – not currently working and needs attention
Dial - very faint green hairline crack between 12 and 1, and an edge crack between 8 and 9, otherwise clean
Glass - general surface abrasions
Hands - good
Case - small section of blue enamel missing from outer chapter ring, along with general surface abrasions on case and 1 small dent on edge of caseback, dust cover has presentation inscription for Retirement of Shipyard Manager from Palmers on 20th June 1918
Crown – hands adjust smoothly
