AMBROSE HEAL, a rare Heal’s, 1930s Art Deco or modernist dining suite comprising table, 2 armchairs and 2 side chairs, all with curule design in oval section chromed tubular steel, the table with later laminated surface to inset top and the chairs with later leather. This design was exhibited in Heals White and Off-White Exhibition at the Mansard Gallery 1933 and shown in the Heals catalogues of the 1930s, table height 78cm, top 154 x 83cm
Christies label attached 1992.
All in good structural condition. All chairs have new leather seats and backs. Some rubbing to all frames, light pitting. Table top has small chips to edges and minor marks for age.
