An antique walnut and burr walnut veneered workbox of shaped form, with satinwood inlay. Lifting lid revealing fitted interior. 69x74x46cm.
Well used condition. Top has some burn marks, some veneer repairs and damage, dicolouration and cracking. Hinge not working properly, needs some attention. Interior nice, some velvet needs repair, fretwork and lids in-tact. Lid warped with approx 1cm gap in places. Crack through frieze. No obvious repairs, some visible old worm to legs. Some trimmed edging to basket is loose. 2 legs possibly repaired.
