A near pair of Victorian military/campaign chests, both 2 section brass bound mahogany with recessed handles with two short and three long drawers (1) H 108cm, W 99cm, D 45.5cm, (2) H 105cm, W 99cm, D44.5cm
Both in good condition, one has dented corner brass mount, no keys to lock drawer. The feet on both chests look to be replacements, both chests have significant marks and wear from use to all surfaces, first chest has damage to corner brass strapping, some staining to interior of drawers, bruising inside drawer fronts and some filling, surfaces have been re-finished. Second set of drawers - brass strapping split on 1 corner, 4"split to 1 side, re-finished, some splitting of backboards, some splitting of drawer interiors at base
