An exceptionally large Indian bronze Urli temple cooking cauldron, possibly 18th/19th century, decorated all over with panels of text and fine engraved floral decoration, cast ring handles, rim diameter 55cm, height 18cm

Good original condition, with patination, there is a 25cm split running around the centre of the base along with another smaller 5cm crack closer to the base rim, general wear all over as one would expect, heavy solid condition. This was inherited by the current vendor approximately 10 years ago. It has never been offered for sale before.
