Taxidermy: Leopard Gecko wet specimen in glass jar
A full specimen of a leopard gecko. Preserved in alcohol contained in a vintage French apothecary glass jar with ground glass lid. Interestingly the animal dropped its tail (a defence mechanism against predators) before death and this is retained in the bottom of the jar with the rest of the animal.
