An Art Deco Diamond Plaque Ring,

circa 1920, the openwork cruciform-shaped plaque millegrain set with old cut diamonds, accented with an X-shaped backing further set with old cut diamonds, the diamonds totalling approximately 2.00 carats, mounted in platinum and 18ct white gold, size N, 4.7g

More Information

The diamonds are very bright and lively, the larger diamonds have a very slight yellow tint but are quite clean internally and only have a few tiny crystal inclusions which are difficult to see with a loupe. The mount has general surface wear commensurate with age and use, the back of the shank has one small join section. Overall in very good condition.
