A Belle Epoque Diamond and Gem-Set 'Giardinetto' Brooch/Pendant,
designed as a basket of flowers, the flowerhead petals set with round-cut rubies and emeralds, the basket frame with a looping handle forming a pendant loop, set throughout with round-cut diamonds, the diamond totalling approximately 1.00 carats, unmarked mount tests as 14ct gold and silver, 29.7mm, 11.5g
The diamonds are all bright and lively. The rubies and emeralds are vivid with a good colour saturation, one emerald is noticeably more vivid than the other two. The mount has three solder repairs which are only visible from the back, to include a new brooch hook plate, but all pieces are stable. Overall in good condition.
