An Austro-Hungarian gold ruby and diamond figural phoenix bird ring, set with cabochon ruby eye and old-cut diamonds, maker's mark on outside of shank, setting height 14.3mm, size J, 2.9g
1 wing has been soldered and re-broken but ring is still stable, all stones present but 3 diamonds on broken wing are possibly replacements as 1 appears to be canary yellow, ring slightly off-round, shank lightly worn, marks slightly rubbed.
