All pieces bear crossed swords except egg cups, only 1 egg cup has a crossed sword mark and none appear to have been cancelled or crossed through, the service has been bought at different periods and this reflects the mixture of pieces. 1 tureen lid has multiple chips to rim, 1 half moon dish is smaller than others and has chips around rim, 1 saucer / tea cup is chipped at rim, 1 tea cup has a hairline crack running through body, some discolouration to other tea cups, the second largest platter has a large chip at 1 end and rough edges with glaze rubbing, boat-shaped dish has small glaze chip to edge and some discolouration, very little crazing to any pieces, some surface discolouration but service would benefit from a general clean, the vast majority of pieces in good order. None of the cross sword marks appear to have been crossed through to denote second quality, 1 sauce boat base appears to have been restored. The largest platter has unglazed bisque finish to base as do the 2 gondola-shaped dishes.
