A 19th century French brass 8-day striking carriage clock, by Jules of Paris, white enamel dial with black Roman numeral hour markers and all over floral engraved case, with bevel-edge plate glass viewing slides on top and sides, movement striking on a bell, plate no. 686, case height 13cm, not currently working
Good overall condition although movement not currently working and only runs for a few seconds before stopping, dial and case in very good order with only minor abrasions and rubbing to high points, 3 corners on one side glass panel have small chips otherwise no damage, with both keys, striking function working when hands pass the hour and half hour
