A Samoan Siapo bark cloth, approx 165cm x 145cm, bast cloth are made from 2 layers of the inner bark of the paper mulberry tree, dyed with lama (black dye) made from soot of the burnt candlenut and loa (red dye) extracted from the pods of the lipstick tree.
