A 17th century Stuart Crystal mourning slide ring, circa 1650 - 80, the very finely woven blonde hair panel decorated with a cherub, all beneath oval faceted glass, on blue ground with cut-down piecrust surround and closed-back settings, panel 21.2mm x 19.0mm, size approx K, 6.1g

Piece has been converted into a ring with a later shank soldered to backing, shank is slightly bent, several light dents on gold backing, light wear to facet edges of glass and some wear to decoration beneath glass, along with several small spots of glue, unmarked
