A 19th century German cut-glass claret jug, silver gilt mounts and fluted glass body and squeeze action hinged cover mechanism, by Strubb & Sohn, height 40cm.

800 silver mark to lid and pattern nr 5661. Marked to base Strubb & Sohn 750. Gilded banding is rubbed. Some discolouration to interior glass at base, 3 minor chips to ridges of glass body. Opening mechanism works well, overall good condition.
