An 18th/19th century Chinoiserie Tavern clock, octagonal black lacquered and gilded dial and case, H140cm
Black lacquered paintwork is heavily chipped all over showing through to the wooden case itself, all clearly visibly, various knocks and splits and cracks through the wood, some later repairs and replacement sections of wood particularly the 2 side brackets to the rear of the dial, clock has a 4-pillar brass movement with pendulum and lead weight, currently not in working order
