£3,000
An Art Deco French emerald and diamond necklace/bracelet combination set, circa 1930, each bracelet set in unmarked rose gold and white metal with central graduated row of rectangular step-cut emeralds flanked either side by a row of old and single-cut diamonds, both bracelets can be combined to form a single collar necklace, largest emerald measures approx 5.85 x 3.20 x 2.45mm, total diamond content approx 5ct, apparently unmarked, both bracelets 17cm long, necklace length approx 35cm, 46.9g total
No obvious damage or repair, all stones present, emeralds are relatively well matched and slightly differ in saturation, all have typical internal inclusions, diamonds bright and fiery with a slight yellow tint, a few have small surface chips and some have been replaced with modern round brilliant-cuts, a few cross bars on setting backings are cut and some others are missing but this does not effect the structural integrity of either bracelet, general wear to high points, clasps working perfectly, both unmarked
