Canvas has been lined, no obvious sign of repaired tears or canvas damage, light paint crazing at the edges of the darker areas at the top but paint is all stable, when examined under UV light a concealing varnish has been used, indistinct Christie's stencil mark on stretcher, good quality gilt frame but not the original, provenance: local private deceased estate
