Caged bird sculptures by Jackie Attwood - a taxidermy Budgerigar, behind bars in a varnished wooden case, height 19.5cm, case inscribed "Caged budgerigars are fortunate. They can often live twice as long as their wild counterparts" and a second sculpture, a taxidermy European Goldfinch, encased in a hinged box, inscribed "I know why the caged bird sings, ah me, when his wing is bruised and his bosom sore. When he beats his bars and he would be free; It is not a carol of joy or glee", (2).
