A fine 18ct gold ruby and diamond cluster ring, claw set with 2.5ct oval mixed-cut ruby surrounded by old-cut diamonds and diamond shoulders, total diamond content approx 1.2ct, ruby weight calculated from measurements: 8.56 x 6.83 x 5.23mm, French assay mark on outside shank, setting height 15.4mm, size N, 4.7g (shank cut)
*UPDATE 23/7/25* The ring head/basket is now unfortunately fully detached from the underbridge and shank, which it was already mostly detached from, so it will need reattaching.
All stones present, ruby is a deep red with several internal inclusions visible through a loupe along with very minor facet edge abrasions and several tiny surface nicks, diamonds extremely bright and lively, general wear to mount, shank is cut and underbridge is detached from half of the diamond baskets (due to the play from the shank being cut), French assay mark clear
