Gillows of Lancaster, 19th century rosewood dining table of rectangular form, brass inlaid and crossbanded top having a beaded moulded surround and frieze, on a finely carved and shaped platform base with carved acanthus feet, 137cm x 102cm (4'6" x 3'4")
2 pieces of the brass stringing are very slightly lifting, probably very slightly faded, no splits or repairs, generally good original condition. Very good overall bright condition with a good colour and shimmer, 1 small section of brass inlay starting to lift on top (visible in extra pictures), all beading on edge is present, 1 leg has a small corner veneer chip which has been repaired and another leg has a veneer split which is very slightly lifting, no signs of rot or worm, colour is the same throughout, no obvious warping
