A pair of 19th century oak prayer chairs, with lidded upper compartments to the backs, carved and pierced back panels and cross stretchers
Height to seat 46cm, movement on both frames but overall solid, some minor woodworm marks, nothing recent, 1 back carved panel is cracked through and has been repaired, seat planks have separated, no other sign of repairs, small wood chip losses from age and use, no major losses
