Fossil Curiosity “The Amber Egg”, Ostrich Egg covered in Genuine Copal, an interesting addition to any fossil or curiosity collection. An antique ostrich egg, which has had approximately 150 specimens of copal painstakingly applied to it. The majority of the specimens having multiple insect inclusions within them. Copal is also known as young amber, as it too is fossilised tree resin. Copal is just not as old as amber. Comes with Perspex display ring.
