W Watson & Sons Limited, 313 High Holborn, London - a Victorian compound monocular "Van Hueurck" microscope, serial number 3345, Housed in original fitted case, with original rexine cover. Microscope was used by local entomologist George West, relating to which there are annotated hand written notes to the inside of the microscope case.
Good overall condition. Some minor surface marks and scratches consistent with use. No slippage.
