17th/18th century oil on canvas, Classical portrait of a woman, unsigned, 76cm x 63cm, unframed
Very old re-lining with exhibition label from the South London Art and Picture Gallery (handwritten text is completely unreadable), painting hasn't been touched for many years, general paint crazing, small tear just above the figure's head and several small areas of paint flaking and tiny spots of overpainting, generally good untouched condition
